Granola mix is a versatile and nutritious blend of ingredients typically used as a topping or snack. It consists of a combination of rolled oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. The mix is often baked with a sweetener such as honey or maple syrup to create clusters or a crunchy texture.
Preparation
To begin, start by adding rolled oats, rice flakes, and your preferred nuts to a pan. Sauté the mixture continuously for 5-6 minutes. Next, incorporate pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, and continue sautéing for an additional 5 minutes.
Afterward, remove the pan from the stove and introduce a pinch of salt, a dash of cinnamon, and a drizzle of honey. Thoroughly combine all the ingredients until they are well incorporated.
Now, it's time to add the delightful dry fruits. Mix everything together, ensuring each element is evenly distributed. Allow the mixture to cool down completely before transferring it into an airtight container.
